The Department of Travel & Tourism is committed to imparting skill based education in the field of travel and tourism, preparing students for professional careers in tourism planning, tour operations, hospitality support services and allied sectors.

Program Outcomes (POs)

PO1: Basic Knowledge: Ability to apply knowledge of basic Mathematics, Science and Engineering to solve the engineering problems.

PO2: Discipline Knowledge: Ability to apply discipline specific knowledge to solve core and/or applied engineering problems.

PO3: Experiments and Practice: Ability to plan and perform experiments and practices and use the results to solve engineering problems.

PO4: Engineering Tools: Apply appropriate technologies and tools with an understanding of limitations.

PO5: The Engineer and Society: Demonstrate knowledge to assess the societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues, and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.

PO6: Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of engineering solutions in societal and environmental context, and demonstrate knowledge and need for sustainable development.
