The Department of Science and Humanities is a multidisciplinary department meant to develop social understanding and awareness among the students. Its objective is to provide value-based liberal education to budding engineers so that they can become professionals with a difference and understand the social realities.

Currently, the department houses disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Communication Skills. All these disciplines exist as separate divisions and maintain individual identity. Well-experienced and highly qualified faculty members of the department have made consistent and strenuous efforts to improve student learning.

The department is actively involved in the early development of students personality, communication and soft skills to boost them in the modern and globally competitive environment. The unique strength of the department is the excellent coordination in carrying out academic responsibilities.
