Students of the institute are taking active part in various sports conducted by Inter Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association (IEDSSA). Results of various sport events where the students participated in the year 2017-18 is as follows:
A) SPORTS (BOYS) - IEDSSA:
Government Polytechnic Nagpur is the Head Quarter for IEDSSA I-2 Zone 2017-18. Government Polytechnic Nagpur is Winner and Runner in following zonal events:
