Boys and Girls Hostel
Government Polytechnic Nagpur provides with safe, disciplined, clean, comfortable and excellent residential facilities for over two hundred fifty students, featuring one boys’ hostel and one girls’ hostel. The hostel focuses on creating an environment that supports both the academic and personal development of students. A positive environment is created to encourage students to participate in sports, cultural, social and other activities along with their academic life. Discipline, cleanliness, mutual respect, cooperation and responsibility are given importance in the hostel. Students are expected to follow hostel rules and use the available facilities properly. Each hostel is well-equipped with amenities such as a television, sports equipment, water coolers, water heaters, indoor as well as outdoor well-equipped green gym, etc. Catering for both hostel residents is handled by students’ cooperative mess in the hostel premises. It is mandatory for residents to join the mess associated with their hostel, which is managed by a committee of student representatives. The overall management of the hostels falls under the purview of the Rector, supported by a dedicated team of wardens and other administrative staff.

Procedure for Admission
- Criteria for Admission: It Strictly according to merit & as per Govt. of Maharashtra rules for caste category candidates as amended time to time.
- Every year it needs to take admission at hostel as per merit.
- Procedure of admission: As per rules and notices issued after declaration of even semester results at the end of every academic year.
